Last year was an incredibly pivotal year for the Alliance. In November 2022, we officially rebranded as the Global Alliance for Tobacco Control and launched a whole new membership structure for the Alliance called the GATC Community.
In our 2022 Annual Report we highlight our recent transition to the GATC and also discuss our work on:
- Accelerating WHO FCTC implementation
- Aligning tobacco control with development and the SDGs
- Promoting budget advocacy as a domestic resource mobilization strategy
Our 2022 Annual Report also includes a Year in Review section. In this section, we highlight a selection of Alliance projects and some activities led by those in the GATC Community, partner organizations, and previous FCA members.
