The global tobacco control funding shortfall is estimated to be US$27.4 billion and remains a major barrier to WHO FCTC implementation. In an effort to help address this problem, the GATC has recently released a new Budget Advocacy Toolkit for CSOs and advocates. The toolkit is now available in English and Spanish and was developed as part of the Alliance’s recent budget advocacy projects.  See our Budget Advocacy Toolkit page to learn more. For more information about budget advocacy and the CSO experience, please see our case studies from our budget advocacy pilot projects in Senegal and Uganda.
